The DayZ Backpacks information will be discussed here. The DayZ Community has been asking us to link up more information about the Backpacks involved. The DayZ Buzz community is here to help you with exclusive content, facts, and specifications about the DayZ Backpack(s). There are six available DayZ Backpacks in the game.
This overview will provide you with all a brief description of each backpack, which is important for ANY player, at any level in the game. You can be 6 months into DayZ (one of the first few hundred players in the game) and still use this information to your advantage? or you could be just starting your venture in DayZ, and prefer to educate yourself. We provide tips for all playing levels, and the good news is? THERE ARE NO NEWBIES IN DayZ. In fact, it has nothing to do with kills, but more about the LOGIC, ACTIONS, and TACTICS. These decisions are clearly up to you: FINDING, LOOKING FOR, and LOOTING a DayZ Backpack is an ACTION that can cost you your life in the game, or it can benefit you to survive longer.
Patrol Pack (Coyote)
Every new player starts with the Patrol Pack (Coyote). People often mistaken the name of the DayZ Backpack ?Patrol Pack (Coyote)? with the actual Coyote Backpack that is the ?KING KONG?, rare backpack in the game. Make sure when you are communicating with others that you mention you have a Patrol Pack, and not a Coyote backpack. It holds 8 slots.
Czech Vest Pouch
The Czech Vest Pouch holds the lease amount of slots out of all the DayZ Backpacks. The Patrol Pack with the fresh spawn holds 8 slots, as the Czech Vest Pouch is able to hold 6 slots.
Assault Pack
The Assault Pack is often mistaken with the Patrol Pack when found on the floor because the design and appearance look similar. Remember to scroll your mouse to find out which DayZ Backpack it is, because the Assault Pack is not a bad backpack to have as it holds 12 slots.
Czech Backpack
The Czech Backpack has better capabilities (greater alternative vs Patrol, Vest Pouch, and Assault) as this DayZ Backpack will allow you to move up further north with some decent loot. The DayZ Czech Backpack is a great alternative until you find an Alice or Coyote Backpack, as the Czech pack holds 16 slots.
Alice Backpack
The Alice Pack is the second best backpack in the game, and has great potential to do exactly what you want in the game, scavenge, loot, carry weapons, pistols, medical supplies, all the above. The Alice Backpack in DayZ holds 20 slots, and has great potential to reach your goals in the game. T
Coyote Backpack
he Coyote Backpack ? I?m sure you?ve heard, is the KING KONG of all Backpacks. It is RARE, it is HUGE in visibility, and it makes you look pro in DayZ. Besides the fact that you are a heavy target with it since most bandits want to kill you to loot your body, it holds the maximum amount of slots, which holds 24. It is only (+4 slots) compared to the Alice Pack, but every slot counts when you are in a Survival game playing against Players and Zombies, and you don?t want the risk of needing supplies every minute or not having enough room because you do not have the best backpack. The DayZ Coyote Backpack does it all for you, and can help you accomplish a lot of your goals in the game.
